Elevating urban sustainability

About Us

Greener Heights is a group project for the Introduction to Technology class in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program at Georgetown University.  Our group members are Roxana Elliott, Rosalind Koff, Jen Lennon, Kelley Newman, and Dorothy Fang Peng.  Our project will include interviews with experts from environmental groups, academia, and green roof businesses, an informational poster, paper, and video.

Group members:

Roxana Elliott:
Roxana is a first-year masters degree student studying Communication, Culture, and Technology at Georgetown University, with a focus on media and politics and communication studies.  She studied Psychology and Communications at George Washington University for undergrad, and currently works in Communications at Al Jazeera Network.

Dorothy Fang Pang:
Dorothy is a first-year masters student studying Communication, Culture, and Technology at Georgetown University.

Rosalind Koff:
Roz Koff is a first year masters candidate at Georgetown, interested in the ubiquity of technology in daily life.  She currently works for the Application Developers Alliance, a start-up non-profit trade association for developers and stakeholders in the mobile space.  Roz earned her bachelors at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in both Communication Arts and Gender Studies.

Jen Lennon:
Jen Lennon is a first-year CCT student who is interested in studying the intersection of TV, film and art with technology and communication theories. She graduated from Ohio University with a B.S. in Magazine Journalism and has been working in online communications, web strategy and social media ever since.

Kelley Newman:
Kelley Newman is a graduate candidate in Georgetown University’s Communication, Culture and Technology program. With a background in public relations, she aims to explore technology’s impact on how audiences prefer and expect to receive their news and entertainment and how brand management practices are evolving alongside technology.
